I want to make an aquarium gigantamomungo. Do you know of good, cheap materials?

I have four turtles in a gallon of ten. I reeeaaalllyy want to make a big aquarium for them (and add the fish and cool stuff), but I do not know what kind of equipment should I get according to my budget (who is not too high). I really want to abstain from drink, because you know. 'Stuff' happens, as Forrest Gump said indirectly. I want a sort of Plexiglas-type material, but it can not be too expensive. In addition, you know things support the tanks? Managers, I suppose? Where I get these, or could I do it myself for cheap? So please, if you have had experience in building tanks before (or not), and can list materials and the average amount per foot, it would be just dandy. So what do I do for a hood? I thought if I really wanted to be cheap, I could stretch a bit screen in the upper reservoir and a clip of desklamp beside him. Or is it generally cheaper to just buy a tank already? I have two 950 gallon home aquariums that are essentially building cons-plated with a frontage glass. Plans for plywood tanks are easy to find on the net with a quick search on Google. The main points to remember is marine use grade epoxy (from a supply store boating or special order in paint stores, pure silicon labeled for aquarium use and stainless steel screws for construction. Do not forget space would need a serious one like mine ... it is 8 'X 4 "X 4 '. It is also extremely heavy, even before completing it. You do not have to make your own hood and I did not made an immediate left open fires in height and weighed on her. Later, I did make a top wire screen to one of them to keep big fish to jump. I'm not sure of the current cost to build one like mine, but certainly much less than buying a tank glass of the same size. Good luck with the construction of the tank! MM
