Then a lion tiger hybrid mate / with others of their kind and have cubs?
Ive read that the zoo in China, a male lion and a tiger female parents become little mixed. What I want to know is - will the bears are fertile, and they are a new breed of big cats? and oh, could this happen to the state wild?
In general, hybrids of two different species are sterile. Sometimes, however, fertile hybrids also occur. This has sometimes happened with the descendants of horses and donkeys, but I have not heard of such cases with the big cats. The article linked has a section on fertile mules. I read these cases in more reliable sources as well.
