First objective: How are they good and how the difference image is produced from the zoom / lens kit?

Now I read the first goal and I was told that the image will be much much better but how. These are my questions. 1. If my kit lens @ f/3.5 Exposure is correct 1/1.3 sec ISO-800 is how much faster the primary objective to give me 50mm f/1.8 shutter speed 2. If I use 50mm f/1.8 FX format Nikon D3000 is DX and I frame my picture where I need the corners. Are the corners are cut from I am using FX lens on DX sensor. 3.
