Reading Rimless Plastic
Question about rimless glasses?
I got these new rimless glasses for like 1 and a half week and im not getting used to the "plastic bushings" attached at the edge of the lens. I feel like its always "there" whenever i read, watch t.v. My optician said i just have to get used to it, but i feel like i'm bound to be able to see it when i see and have a feeling that it will be very distracting when i study e.g. when i look at it i feel like its a distraction.
p.s. i tried adjusting it a few times (making it closer and more distant from my face, which do you think will make the bushings less obvisou?)
The thing is i really want to wear rimless and i know im kind of obsessive about this, but can anyone offer advice or personal experience with these glasses?
I agree with the advice given by your optician, you will adapt to it with time. the less you try to think of it, the quicker the adaptation will be. Have the lenses sitting closer to your face too. that will help.
