Can I treat an ear infection for my cat without veterinary assistance?
My son is 11 weeks old kittens left hear is red pink. His ear is down slightly from HES and scratches. If you put pressure in the ear behind the jaw bone greish stinky white stuff arrives in the channel. Can I use this solution to 50% viniger water/50% I read all over the internet or is it too far ahead to this? I spent $ 300 on cat with medical problems since he was 4 weeks and its getting hectic
I am currently treating my cat for an ear infection too, and it is less serious than what you describe. My cat is less severe ear infection ringing has required two months of treatment and three different drugs (antibiotics ear drops, oral antibiotic and a steroid to treat allergies that can have been the cause of the infection to begin with). This represents a very large expenditure which has unfortunately been paid for a healthy cat. The good news is that after kitten, as long as you get them fixed, most cats are medical expenses such as preventive vaccinations for many years. Honestly, I suggest getting the treatment ASAP.
