From what I heard about that card, you actually have to be sent an "invitation" in order to get it. Most people that get sent an invitation usually spend well over $5K-$10K a month in general purchaes, for example celebrities that spend what they normally would spend every month to maintain their lifestyle. I have a friend who is a preofessional athelete who's name I won't disclose out of respect for his privacy and our friendship that was invited for the card, but surprisingly turned it down. His reason was simple. He was too used to living the simple lifestyle before he got his multimillion dollar contracts. He felt that it was just "another way to get caught up in the mix" He invested his money wisely not spending on material things that he never used to have and never really had a desire to get anyway. I don't have it, I don't even have a plain American Express card. I have enough credit cards which I keep the balance next to nothing or at 0. If I had money like that to get invited for one of those cards, I'd decline it too, becuase I'd rather pay for it the old-fashioned way, with CASH. Money talks...
