Clip Flip
Where can I get a clip and flip for my glasses?
I have many types of specialized lenses, and do not need new lenses. All I want is a clip and flip for my glasses, the one that comes without the lens, which will enable me to reach a goal for my glasses and return when I just need the lens, as if I'm inside. Everywhere I look I find clip and flips that come with lenses, like this (http://www.amazon.com/Clip-Flip-Up-Plastic-Sunglasses-Smoke/dp/B003MAWD6E/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=apparel&qid=1277235367&sr=8-2). All and I want to do is flip the clip and you see in the image. Where can I get a clip and flip without glasses? Flying_Dragon, I just want the clip / flip; I already lenses I need ...
It is difficult to say exactly what you want to do it, but for certain professions, such as jewelers (And sometimes mad scientists), they have these glasses that have additional targets that flip into position (presumably when something needs to be examined very near). Maybe something like this will work for your application? Added: I've never seen the clip and flip things for sale without lenses because they are not very expensive, maybe get a game, remove the existing lens (if glued, use a small file or a Dremel tool to grind off ot) and install your own (note: if the lenses you have a very thin and light, they probably will not work with plastic frames fragile).
