Is he serious about possibly marrying me?
My boyfriend is 28 and I am 29. Neither he or I have ever been married or had any kids. We have been officially dating a little over a month but have been best friends for over 3 years. Our relationship was a natural progression from our friendship so I really don't feel as though we are new to each other (besides the sex.) Anyway a couple of weeks ago he asked what size wedding I wanted. Also this past weekend he asked were we ready for a baby? I have explained that I am ready to be a parent but am adament (spg) about not bringing a baby into this world as a single parent ( I lived it and dont wish to perpetuate it.) He goes on to say I know, I know, I know. A little while later he restated my wedding ideal from the previous weeks by asking so you don't want a big wedding. He has said he sees me as his wife. I am not sure what to take. Are these clear signs?
It sounds like he is looking to settle down. I wouldn't rush things though. Guys have a nasty habit of changing their minds down the road. Like you said, you don't want to be a single parent.
