Who is the captain of The Black Pearl?

In the Pirates Of The Carribean movies, who is the captain of the Black Pearl? is it Jack Sparrow?

Before Pirates of the Caribbean, Jack worked for the East India Trading Company, for Beckett. When Jack learned that he would be carrying slaves aboard his ship, the Wicked Wench, he set them free, resulting in Beckett branding him a pirate and sinking the Wicked Wench.

Sparrow made a deal with Davy Jones that if he would raise the ship, he (Sparrow) would serve on the Flying Dutchman after thirteen years of being the captain of his own ship. When the Wicked Wench was raised, it was rechristened the Black Pearl, with Jack as her captain.

Jack got it into his head to go after the treasure of Cortez and gathered a crew in Tortuga. Several weeks out, Barbossa, Jack's first mate, comes to him and says that if everything's an equal share, that should mean the location of the treasure, which Jake gives up. That night, the crew mutinied and left Jack stranded on Rum Runner's Island, where he sat for three days.

During the ten years between the beginning "dream sequence" of Curse of the Black Pearl, and the Pearl showing up in Port Royal, Barbossa has been captain, though Jack introduces himself as Captain Jack Sparrow.

At the end of CotBP, Jack is once again captain of the Black Pearl. However, he ends up in Davy Jones' locker at the end of Dead Man's Chest, with the Black Pearl. In At World's End, Jack is still captaining the ship, though he and Barbossa are constantly giving orders together. At the end of AWE, Jack is stranded once again, this time at Tortuga, with a dingy as his only means of escaping. However, Jack has Barbossa's charts.

So, for the time being Barbossa is captaining the Black Pearl.
