Bifocal Reading Vision
How can anyone wear bifocals?
I am wondering how anyone can wear bifocal eye glasses. I have mine for the past four years and I tried everything but I cannot get used to them and I feel like they are so powerful that I am going to fall down even when I walk over one step. I am to the point where I am going to go and get single vision eye glasses and maybe contacts just for distance. I know I will still need reading glasses but I can't see what else to do as I just cannot get used to bifocal eye glasses. Anyone else have this problem?
I have worn bifocals for several years now. Have at first worn with the bifocal on lower center part and having the distance lens just to side of glasses to be able to walk correctly. In recent years though, starting wearing progressive bifocals and have not had any problems with distance or walking.
I cannot wear contacts due to eye allergies, but my brother can and he has bifocal contacts. They install weight on bottom on the lens to keep the bifocal on the bottom. You may want give these a try also.
