Aphrodite Reading
witch craft questions all welcome from pagans to witches?
Ok well basically i have been Reading about goddesses. I do not get how their magick works is it like if you want something for beauty are love Aphrodite's your girl or is it like you can call upon any of them for anything. I am just a beginner learning about the goddesses i need a little help.

What you get, however, may vary.
Personally, I think that it's best to stick with deities you feel close to, deities you are familiar with, have studied, have worked with in the past. I think it's rude to go knocking on Aphrodites door saying "Please bring me a lover with hair like golden fleece!" if you hardly know Her. That's like me walking up to Bill Gates and saying, "Can you spare $1000?" All he would say would be, "SECURITY!"
If I have a friend that I work with often and have a relationship, I can say, "Can you spare $1000? I'm really down on my luck!" and she'll say, "Well, I can loan you $100 for the time being... I haven't got much money myself, but I can talk to that guy in my building about that custodian job and give you a recommendation. He might help you out."
See how the second way was much more effective? I didn't get EXACTLY what I wanted, but I got something that worked out to fill my need.
